Welcome to Living Faith FellowshipMeet Some Members of Our Family
Jon and Connie Adams - Have raised 11 children in this church and therefore have hands on experience in many of the ministries from the Children's church to the Solid youth group and our local ConneXions leader development program. Connie also does janitorial work for the church and Jon runs the Helps ministry. Together they have a small group meeting and look forward to welcoming anyone interested in growing together through fellowship.
Bill and Carol Frisbie - Have been a ministry team for over 26 years, both in the home to their 4 children, the workplace and the church here and abroad. They have a passion to see healthy community life occur both in and outside of Sunday meetings. The driving reason behind this passion is a conviction that it is in the context of community where God transforms our lives and makes us all he desires us to be. They are always eager to meet and connect visitors and new people to the family.
What to expect when I visitWe are a "God-friendly" church and believe that God is alive and his people should be too! Our worship is passionate and engaging, the messages are dynamic as we have a strong emphasis on the absolute authority of the Word of God brought forth with passion, clarity and credibility. It is both practical and relevant for our world today. You can listen to our teachings online. We value family worship, therefore, children are encouraged to stay with parents during worship and then are invited to join our children's program when you see the dismissal sign on the big screen, this is generally 35 minutes after the start of the service. You can dress casually as we are more concerned about what God is doing inside our hearts and lives than what everyone is wearing.
How can Living Faith help me?We offer various, high quality workshops on Wednesday nights that foster growth and encouragement in families, stewardship, communication, parenting, purpose, spiritual giftings, and various other practical topics for those who are desiring to learn. We also offer childcare on these nights. If you are desiring fellowship and would like gathering with other Christians in an informal environment, then our community groups offer you that opportunity. We have various community groups spread throughout the Michiana area. To see a complete list of community group options, click here. Our Founder and Senior Pastor, Dr. Malcolm Webber, is a gifted teacher and speaker. His speaking engagements take him all across the world in mega-churches and in small villages. His books and teachings have helped many people at Living Faith and in many nations. You can visit our online bookstore to see his writings and visit our audio resource library to listen to his teachings online. The children's ministry and youth ministry at Living Faith offer our kids the opportunity to find God in a real way. We understand the role of the parent as primary builder in the life of the child and therefore desire to partner with parents in ministering to their children. Stories
During those years, God used so many of you to touch my life very deeply. And as I still continue to wrestle with the dealings of God in my life, and at times become discouraged, God has gently reminded me of all of the work that He has done faithfully in my life over the years, and that He will complete this work. I want to remind and thank you all for the care and oversight that you have shown me and to encourage you that your faithful work has not gone unnoticed. Sincere and heartfelt thanks to the many that have been my spiritual fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers. We love you all!
FAQsOn the last Friday of each month we hold a prayer gathering from 7 pm until midnight (hence the name). Prayers are offered and intercession is made for all manner of topics and needs. All are welcome to come and participate for as much of this time as they are able. For more details contact Jim Tyson jim@lff.net
Marriage is a wonderful relationship! It is also a covenant not to be entered into without serious consideration! Our desire is for every marriage to be healthy and able to stand against the tide of pressures that lead to family disintegration. For this reason we offer a holistic program of premarital preparation. In addition to the many helpful resources and conversations with a staff pastor, mentor couples are established to walk alongside those considering marriage. These couples help those exploring marriage to examine the issues of a life-long commitment, sharing wisdom and faith from their own journey. The mentoring relationship often continues to be an ongoing source of encouragement. Our Pastoral team members will not perform wedding ceremonies for couples who have not engaged in premarital work. A decade ago, you all embraced a messed up, hurting girl. During the first year that we were a part of Living Faith, I don’t think that I’d be exaggerating to say that I remember receiving ministry every time we walked through the doors of the church – and that was like three times a week! We were recently married and I was without even a high school diploma. My heart was to serve God, but I didn’t really now how to; I didn’t even know how to balance my check book!
